When J.T. Bock was a child, she wanted to be James Bond or Indiana Jones or a vampire hunter or Wonder Woman. Whatever brought her the most action, adventure and romance while play acting on her stage—otherwise known as her grandmother’s basement. Over the past few years, from a secret location outside of Washington, DC, J.T. has conjured pulse-pounding tales to share with kindred readers looking for an exciting escape. She’s written three novels and several short stories and is an active member of RWA and WRW. A Surefire Way—a superhero romance, the first in her UltraSecurity series,—was published in 2013. A short story in this series, The Grandfather Paradox, was released in January 2015 part of A Very Paranormal Holiday anthology. The second book in the UltraSecurity series, Dama X, will be released in late 2015. When not speaking at conferences or blogging about writing life, her alternate identity enjoys spending time with her workaholic husband and their sidekick rescue dog, traveling to interesting locales, and enjoying life to the fullest with an amazing group of family and friends and a good glass of wine or cocktail.
