Here we are, the day after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.).
I am thankful for the friendship and support my fellow writers have extended to me this year. Writing may be a solitary pursuit, but it is one that can be enjoyed in the company of other writers. Whether it be at a coffee shop, a casual restaurant, or a glassed-in room at the local library, writer meet-ups make the words flow.
For those of you doing NaNoWriMo this year, there are 5 more days to finish your draft. If (like me) you aren’t going to make it by Nov 30, don’t give up—make a commitment to finishing in December. I’ll be writing this weekend to make my draft real. Join me in the push to get those words on paper.
A final thought as I’m sitting in my quiet house, recovering from yesterday’s cooking and hosting. This year we had a surprise hit at the dinner table: home-made marshmallows that I made with Taylor Reynolds.
What was the biggest/most surprising hit at your Thanksgiving dinner? Tell me below!
