Fun Things “Parisian” Giveaway
I write this blog, even now, sitting at a café on Le Rive Gauche – Café de Flore, a famous café of literary greats in the Saint Germain des Prés quarter of Paris. I sit here drinking a “Vanity Flore” and blogging. Actually, I am writing in a journal and will transfer it later. 🙂
Louis Vuitton is to my left, Cartier just ahead and Brasserie Lipp across the street. A magazine stand is within site and Parisians walk with their dogs and baguettes down the Boulevard St. Germain. Yes, they still do that. The vision is positively French.
Escargots, steak frites and a nice bottle of Bordeaux made for a great final lunch at Brasserie Lipp in one of my favorite cities, but the trip wasn’t all food and espresso. I also found quite a bit of time to relax and enjoyed many strolls down the Seine River thinking of the next stories that I will tell. I also read five books and am finishing the trip with writing this blog (and packing, of course). Some of my favorite parts of the trip were:
Notre-Dame de Paris
Café de Flore
Enjoying a cocktail
Browsing and shopping at a famous bookstore
Ceilings and Beauty
Shopping at Galerie Lafayette
Strolling Place Vendôme
Wishing you all the best!
